Corrosion Control with Advanced Composites
The Advanced Composites Division has extensive corrosion control experience. Our material capabilities include vinyl ester, polyester, furan and conductive fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) composites, polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, and polyethylene thermoplastics. PVDF, ECTFE, ETFE and FEP/PFA fluoropolymers and state-of-the-art thermoplastic and or fluoropolymers / FRP dual laminates are also offered.
In addition to various structural laminates, corrosion liners and curing systems can be utilized to meet your specific environment and project requirements. All fabricated equipment and field services will have recorded quality control documentation completed before shipment or at completion of work:
- Visual sign off and acceptance
- Barcol hardness verification of laminate
- Acetone sensitivity verification
- Raw material (resin, reinforcements and promoter) manufacturer identification and lot numbers
- Final dimensional check
- Fabrication sketch or drawing
